At Junub Debate Academy, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of critical thinking, eloquent communication, and leadership among the youth of South Sudan. Our mission is to train individuals who are passionate about debate—whether they are aspiring debaters, debate coaches, or even patrons who support debate as a tool for education and societal transformation.

Through rigorous training sessions, mentorship programs, and workshops, we ensure that our participants acquire the skills needed to excel in debate both locally and internationally. We focus on building confidence, enhancing public speaking abilities, and teaching the art of persuasive argumentation.

One of our proudest achievements is selecting and preparing the best debaters to represent South Sudan in international tournament. Under the Junub Debate Academy banner, these talented individuals showcase their skills on global stages, bringing pride to our nation while gaining exposure to diverse perspectives and cultures.

The Juba Schools Debating Championship serves as a regional qualifier for schools in Central Equatoria State. It brings together some of the brightest young minds from Juba and its surrounding areas to compete in an atmosphere of collaboration and intellectual rigor.

Through this championship, students are challenged to research, analyze, and debate complex topics ranging from governance and economic development to social issues affecting South Sudan and the world at large. The event also serves as a networking opportunity for students and educators, encouraging the exchange of ideas and best practices in education and debate.

Bor Schools Debating Championship - Jonglei State

The Bor Schools Debating Championship focuses on fostering debate excellence among students in Jonglei State. This event highlights the unique challenges and opportunities faced by the region while emphasizing the importance of dialogue in building a better future.

Participants from Bor and neighboring areas engage in debates that reflect their lived experiences and the aspirations of their communities.
